Hungryhouse.co.uk is championing its partner restaurants' delivery drivers as part of a new marketing campaign.

The video content-led ‘Delivery Hero of the Year’ campaign profiles five shortlisted delivery drivers from hungryhouse.co.uk’s network of over 9,000 partner restaurants, sharing their stories and experiences of delivering takeaway food to the masses.

The objective of the activity is to remind takeaway fans to the lengths that their delivery driver has to go to to ensure their order reaches them hot and on time. The campaign also serves to strengthen hungryhouse.co.uk’s relationship with its local restaurant partners, giving takeaways a real ‘personality’ as well as reinforcing the brand’s key message – ‘Your hunger. Our Mission’.

“We work closely with our partner restaurants and delivery drivers on a daily basis, but find our customers do not always connect the moment of delivery with our brand. We want to emphasise a connection to hungryhouse as a takeaway is handed over. This campaign showcases the personality of our drivers and champions some of the real heroes of the takeaway industry,” explained Alice Mrongovius, hungryhouse.co.uk marketing director.

The five shortlisted drivers are up for ‘Delivery Hero of the Year’ on hungryhouse.co.uk’s first ‘Delivery Hero Day’ on 29 March. The winner will be decided by public vote with hungryhouse.co.uk using social media, newsletter and PR channels to drive traffic to the bespoke landing page.
