The Drum’s What’s On guide for events across the calendar of the media and marketing industry has launched with the aim of offering a definitive list of what is happening across the country on a day-to-day basis.

The online guide will supply daily information on events that are taking place that are highly relevant to the media and marketing industry, and will allow The Drum’s audience to keep abreast of what is coming up across the country.

Relevant events can also be uploaded by organisers to highlight the details to the industry and draw attendees as well.

The basic service is free to use, although extra marketing functions have also been made available, with a book now function and promotion of an event on the front page of the site and elsewhere within The Drum’s inventory as part of an upgraded listing. Media partnerships with the publication can also be made through the site, which will see events working alongside The Drum on promotion and content delivery as a result.

Stephen Lepitak, online editor for The Drum, explained: “The creation of the What’s On guide will aim to offer a one-stop-shop for the whole industry to allow it to scour what events are taking place within the industry. We find at The Drum that there is something happening almost every single day of the year and so this platform will aim to highlight each conference, exhibition and festival to the industry and help organisers drive awareness bookings at the same time. We are also open to exploring new media partnerships this year as we increase our own coverage of industry events."

Alongside conferences and seminars, training events, social events and awards will also be highlighted by the guide, which will be updated regularly each day.

More information on how to upload an event to the Whats On guide can be found within the section on The Drum homepage.
