Oxfam has enlisted a dozen well known faces for its Lift Lives for Good campaign, aimed at tackling poverty.

Photographer Rankin captured the celebrities – including Simon Pegg, Bonnie Wright, Anna Friel, David Morrissey, Nicole Scherzinger and magician Dynamo – leaping through the air.

Rankin said that although it was fun to do, it carries a series message.

"Oxfam's new campaign shows the positive long-term changes that happen in poor communities when Oxfam helps just one person, who in turn helps the people around them,” he said.

"Every day, thanks to the support of the public, Oxfam is putting this into practice, saving and changing lives. I'm very proud to be part of that and hope others will also want to lift lives in some of the poorest countries in the world."

The images have appeared on the Oxfam website and include a short blurb from each celebrity talking about the most uplifting moment in their life.

This is the latest piece of activity to raise awareness of Oxfam’s Lift Lives for Good fundraising dirve, which launched at the start of the year.
