Mondelez expected to sign WeChat ad deal in latest digital and social marketing push
Mondelez is expected to announce a partnership deal agreement with WeChat this week as it aims to transfer more media spend into the social and online space.
The Chinese social app is understood to be set to expand its operation into the US and China, and will partner with Mondelez brands in the process.
At the time of writing, little information was available, but it is understood that a formal announcement will be made in the coming days.
Yesterday, Mondelez International announced a partnership with Facebookas it continued to grow its investment in digital and social marketing.
Earlier this week. weChat agreed a deal to sell cancer insurance to its users.
WeChat had not responded to The Drum's request for a comment at the time of writing.
