The Isle of Wight Festival has launched a new advertising campaign to promote this year’s Festival.

Created by Ambition Communications and supported by Amazing Media, the campaign will run for 2 months across transport, press, shopping and online media predominately in London and the South East region.

Aimed at the core festival audience of 25-40 year old music lovers, the campaign features the Festival’s new strapline and hashtag #BeThere and uses the distinctive Isle of Wight Festival artwork. Initially the campaign will focus on raising awareness of this year’s headline performers – Biffy Clyro, Calvin Harris, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Kings of Leon – before communicating messages on the overall experience and accessibility.

Becky McKinlay from Ambition says: “There are few clients that can inspire so much excitement within an agency and to be involved in the creative to communicate the best line up of the UK Festival calendar is something that we’re all extremely proud of.”

2014 is the 13th year of The Isle of Wight Festival and this year’s confirmed sponsors and commercial partners include Absolute Radio, BT Sport, Hard Rock Café and Heineken, with others due to be announced soon.

The Isle of Wight Festival takes place from 12th – 15th June in Seaclose Park, Newport, Isle of Wight and features a selection of the world’s biggest artists alongside an array of new and established acts.
