Pistorius trial interrupted after witness' face is accidentally broadcast
The high-profile trial of paralympian Oscar Pistorius briefly ground to a halt this morning after a witness's face was broadcast by accident – despite a court order expressly prohibiting such actions. As a result the prosecutor was forced to adjourn the case while it investigated but eNCA, the news channel broadcasting the trial live, insists it had done nothing wrong. Instead it published a Twitter statement claiming that the image had been pulled from the website of a university where she works and was not an image of the witness in court.
LIVE NOW: Patrick Conroy: 'We are not in vioation of the court order. We did seek senior council and they agree - we are not in violation.'
