Kellogg's has appointed ex-Arcadia's Alex Tait as director of digital for Europe, following the departure of Matt Pritchard last year.

Appointment: Alex Tait

Tait brings digital experience from roles at American Express, the Post Office and Arcadia, and he will be responsible for all brands across Europe, including Corn Flakes, Frosties, CoCo Pops, Krave and Special K.

Martin King, director of media and marketing operations for Kellogg Europe, said: “We are delighted to have Alex join the team. He brings with him a wealth of excellent experience, which will continue to advance the digital agenda for Kellogg in Europe.”

Pritchard left Kellogg's last year to take up a role in the US as global head of digital marketing role for Swiss pharmaceutical company Novartis in September.

Kellogg’s revealed plans for a big push towards mobile in May last year with a commitment to becoming ‘mobile-ready’ within 18 months.
