Edinburgh Council seeks contractor for Fringe ad account

Edinburgh Council is seeking a contractor to handle an outdoor advertising poster project at Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the arts festival which takes place for three weeks every August,

“Advertising of these events offer the wider community a visual display of the range of eclectic performances over this period,” Edinburgh Council explains in the tender, adding that it “anticipates a concessional arrangement for the advertising of performances over the fringe festival period of 2014 will fund operational costs associated with the Fringe Festival.”

Consultancies have until 18 March to put in their tenders, with 7 April being the expected award date.

“For 2014 we are looking to approve around 900 different styles of advertising in a variety of locations on CEC owned assets following on from last year’s successful Fringe Festival Advertising,” The council added, with Triangle fencing, wrap around lamp post advertising and tower columns expected to be included in the advertising.
