David Skerrett departs R/GA to become managing partner at Nimbletank

Nimbletank, a mobile agency, has hired David Skerrett to the role of managing partner.

Most recently Skerrett was director of mobile and social platforms at R/GA, investing two years in developing the agency’s Mobile Social Platforms offering in EMEA and working across brands including Diageo’s Baileys, O2, Unilever, Getty and Heineken.

Nimbletank is looking to harness his “unique skill-set of mobile, strategic and creative experience” to advance the mobile offering for the brands it serves. He will manage all client relationships, including ASOS, Thomson Reuters, Orange and Universal Music Group as well as develop the agency’s client services team, strategy teams, media planning and analytics teams.
