BT Fleet, the specialist fleet management arm of the BT Group, has appointed Omobono to create a new campaign identity and support its marketing team ahead of the company’s Best Practice Forum event next month.

The digital agency has been tasked with delivering digital and offline communications to promote and support the event, and to deliver a strong campaign identity to support BT Fleet’s long-term strategies, including brand and social media communications.

Omobono has seen a raft of new appointments recently, which has seen headcount rise by almost 20 per cent, as it looks to bolster its offering in 2014.

Matthew Walko, head of strategy and Iain Simpson, head of global accounts, have also been promoted to Omobono’s senior management team.

Sarah Pettinger, managing director, commented: “It’s a pleasure to be able to open our doors to some exciting new talent – both experienced players and those fresh to the industry and keen to be a part of a fast-growing team.

“Matthew and Iain’s appointments to our Senior Management Team also publicly recognise the active contribution they’re making and the importance of their roles to our continued success and growth.”

A total of 10 new team members have joined the Omobono team, which is now 55-strong and celebrates its 13th year of business in 2014.
