Save the Children launch hard-hitting midwives campaign
A hard-hitting Save the Children campaign will premiere tonight on ITV’s News at Ten to highlight the perils of giving birth which many mothers must endure around the world.
Created by Adam & Eve DDB First Day depicts a real birth scene to hammer home the message that a million new borns die in their first day every year due to a lack of trained midwives.
To change this situation the children’s charity is embarking on a fund raising campaign to provide better training for midwives in the developing world.
