An advert has appeared on YouTube for the new Xperia Z2, Sony’s new flagship smartphone which it revealed at Mobile World Congress today, 24 February.

The ad shows some of the features of the new device, including the 20.7-megapixel camera which can take 4K videos, the slow motion options, and the water resistant specifications.

It follows a choreographer as he uses the phone to capture inspirational shots of street performers and ends on the tagline ‘Details Make the Difference.’

Sony partnered with the estate of Michael Jackson to launch the Xperia Z2, playing the ad out to Jackson’s ‘Slave To the Rhythm’.

A spokesperson commented on the deal with Epic Record, saying: "In order to enhance the unique experiences Xperia Z2 offers, combining contents and hardware in a way that only Sony can, SOMC is planning multiple initiatives with Epic Records and the Michael Jackson Estate celebrating Michael’s music. Expect to hear more from us soon."

It comes ahead of the Xperia Z2 release to the global market on March 2014.
