US postal service to launch Steve Jobs stamp in 2015
Apple’s late chief Steve Jobs is to be posthumously honoured by the US postal service after he was chosen to adorn the face of a new postage stamp in 2015. The honour is rarely bestowed upon a living individual, which more customarily takes the form of a state bird or some natural flora or fauna, such has been Jobs influence on American cultural life. According to the Washington Post Jobs will soon take his place on the upper right-hand corner of American envelopes alongside the likes of Johnny Carson, Elvis Presley and James Brown. The US postal service has yet to release an official design for the new stamp.
