As The Drum looks to reward the UK’s top design talent we need your help in celebrating the industry’s finest.
This year sees The Drum launch its inaugural Designerati and we want you to help us identify the top 100 individuals to immortalise through our debut Designerati publication (#drumdesignerati).
We’ll also be crowing the person ranked top of the list as our ‘Designer of the Year’ at The Drum Design Awards in April.
Below you’ll find a selection of design talent whose contributions to the industry have made us stand up and take notice, but now we need your help.
Originally compiled through reader suggestions from the Design Census and designers who have impressed The Drum, we turned to former Design Week editor and judge at the first The Drum Design Awards Lynda Relph-Knight to help us whittle it down and now we want you to help us decide where to rank these esteemed individuals in the top 100.
Of the Designerati choices, The Drum editor, Gordon Young, said: "We've been keeping a close eye on the design industry and we're bowled over by the amount of talent in all of the various fields. Design touches everything nowadays so our list includes everyone from illustrators, creative and art directors, fashion designers, product designers, champions of the design industry and academics.
"Everyone in the Designerati deserves credit for their work and The Drum is delighted to be able to highlight this very talented group of people. It wasn't an easy task to cut down our original list of suggestions but I believe that, along with the help of Lynda, the debut Designerati really does feature the cream of the design world."
You have until Friday 7 March to submit your votes for up to three individuals, you can either vote below or on the dedicated The Drum Designerati survey page.
Later we’ll call on you again to help rank our top 10, but right now we simply need you to pick your favourite three.
The Drum Design Awards - where the full list will be revealed and the Designer of the Year awarded - will be held on Wednesday 30 April at the Marriott Grosvenor Square, London.
