Marks & Spencer has joined forces with acclaimed colourist Josh Wood to create a premium range of hair care and colouring products to be sold in store.

The range of 13 products is aimed at women with colour-treated hair and includes shampoo and conditioner, plus additional products such as colour touch up wands for treating hair roots.

DewGibbons + Partners was brought on board to design the range with the brand consultants contribution to the range including naming and 2D and 3D packaging design.

Of the packaging Josh Wood described it as “sleek” and “modern”. Nick Vaus DewGibbons + Partners creative director added: “We spent a lot of time with Josh at his Atelier, allowing us to get a real understanding of his vision to create an honest and accessible yet premium product. We used a fresh, spring-like colour palette, a contemporary font and a restrained, clean design. The “Guardian of Colour” strap line reflects both Josh’s expertise and the power of the product to protect coloured hair.”

The range will roll out in Marks & Spencer stores from February 2014.
