WorldPay appoints DigitasLBi as global digital marketing agency

WorldPay has appointed DigitasLBi to develop its global digital strategy.

The appointment of the Publicis-owned agency will see it become the payment processing firm's lead strategic digital agency, tasked its the development and execution of digital marketing across paid, owned and earned channels.

Kevin Dallas, chief product and marketing officer of WorldPay eCommerce, said: “We felt that DigitasLBi’s strong strategic capabilities and understanding of our business combined with their unparalleled geographic footprint made them the perfect agency partner to help us engage with our customers online."

It is understood that the appointment was made following a five-way pitch.

In January, WorldPay appointed James Frost as its UK chief marketing officer.
