Military charity brand 353 has released a single in tribute to the fallen soldier who inspired the formation of the charity.

The 353 logo designed by Chapter.

Created to celebrate the life of Private Conrad Lewis (the 353rd British soldier killed in Afghanistan) 353 supports a number of organisations that provide assistance to soldiers and their families, including The Paracharity, The Afghanistan Trust, Nowzad Dogs and Troop Aid.

The new single, ‘Soldier On’ - which features singer-songwriter Andrew James from Stratford upon Avon - was made available for download on iTunes last weekend to coincide with the third anniversary of Conrad's death.

Since day one, Midlands based creative agency Chapter has backed the charity, developing 353’s brand identity, website and communications materials.

Mike Rose, managing director of Chapter, said: “353 is extremely close to our hearts. In the three years since its formation, the charity has raised in excess of £300,000 through a range of activities including gala balls, music events, bike rides, car rallies, rugby tournaments, sky dives, runs and through sales of a range of 353 branded products.

“We look forward to continuing to support 353 in the future.”

It is hoped that ‘Soldier On’ may break into the Top 40 this weekend, having already received coverage in the national press, including The Mirror and The Sun.
