Canon Europe, the official sponsor of London Fashion Week, has today (12 February) released its ‘Canon: A Year in Fashion’ documentary film in the run up to the event.

Exploring the relationship between images and fashion, the film is presented by Andy Torres, a blogger from StyleScrapbook.com and gives an insight into the creative work that happens behind the scenes of London Fashion Week.

The documentary includes interviews with photographer and Canon Explorer Clive Booth as well as designer Henry Holland.

Canon's chief of communications for EMEA James Leipnik, commented on the film’s release: “We are very proud to present the ‘Canon: A Year in Fashion’ documentary to those who share our passion for fashion and the power of image.

“The new film gives great insights into the creative work that goes on behind the scenes of London Fashion Week and shines a bright spotlight on talented professionals whose work we all admire; and through social media, we can now share it with a wider audience than ever before.”

Now in its ninth year as official sponsor, Canon will be screening the documentary from the London Fashion Week site at Somerset House. It will also provide live screenings of catwalk shows and designer presentations onsite in the Canon Cinema and Presentation Space.
