Online food ordering site hungryhouse.co.uk has revealed that Alice Mrongovius is to replace Graeme Horne as UK marketing director.

The move forms part of a global marketing push from the brand and follows $88m of investment from Insight Venture Partners.

Mrongovius brings almost 13 years worth of experience to the role, she joined hungryhouse.co.uk parent company Delivery Hero in 2011 in the role of SEO manager for the UK and Australian markets. Her new role sees Mrongovius charged with driving brand expansion in the UK market, striving to establish hungryhouse.co.uk as the nation's largest online food ordering platform.

Of the appointment, Niklas Östberg, Delivery Hero CEO, said: "Delivery Hero holds a strong position globally, and under Alice’s leadership we’re set to dramatically increase hungryhouse’s presence in the UK. We are vastly increasing marketing activity and look forward to strengthening our position in such an important market."

Mrongovius added: "I’m delighted to be taking the helm at hungryhouse at such an exciting time. As we step up marketing activity in the UK I look forward to propelling the brand towards market leadership."

Currently the Delivery Hero group provides online and mobile ordering for more than 55,000 restaurants in 14 countries.
