BBC Worldwide and Realise are offering Top Gear fans the opportunity to ‘Star in a Reasonably Priced Car’ as part of their latest Facebook campaign.

The campaign will generate a personalised image of Facebook users in a budget vehicle alongside the implacable helmeted test driver named the Stig to promote the latest series of the motoring magazine show.

Plugging into Facebook Connect the campaign will access individual’s photos and basic personal information to generate a personalised photomontage, which can then be shared via Facebook, Twitter or email.

Dave Ward, creative director at Realise, said: “The fan base for Top Gear is massive, spanning 214 territories and multiple languages. They are really engaged and we wanted to leverage that love of this iconic show in social. It’s the dream of Top Gear viewers to drive with The Stig, watching the Star in the Reasonably Priced Car and thinking ‘I would love to do that’. I think the fans are going to love it.“
