The next chapter of The Elder Scrolls Online video game has been revealed via the release of a second cinematic trailer.

Bethesda Softworks and ZeniMax Online Studios engaged AKQA and Blur Studio to create and produce ‘The Arrival’, which builds on 2013 release ‘The Alliances’, which gained over 13 million YouTube views.

As the story of The Elder Scroll is revealed over time the long-form films continue the games increasingly dramatic storyline.

With ‘The Alliances’ ending in a tense standoff ‘The Arrival’ continues the drama and action, picking up with the three forces locked in conflict about a gateway keep on the edge of the Imperial City. As they do battle, a new deadly threat makes itself known with the heroes’ battle placed on hold to take on the new danger.

The Elder Scrolls Online is scheduled for release on PC/Mac on 4 April 2014, followed by PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in June.
