Creative directors from Innocent Drinks, The Chase, Publicis London, Smith & Milton and RBH will help judge this year’s Scottish Design Awards.

The Awards, which aim to recognise talent in Scotland in both the design and architecture industries, are currently open for entry, with the deadline date set for Friday 21 February. Judges already announced for the awards are Dan Germain, head of brand and creative at Innocent Drinks; The Chase creative director, Steve Royale; Sue Higgins, creative director of Publicis London; RBH creative director, Stuart Jackson; and Steve Anderson, creative director at Smith & Milton. With more architecture and design judges set to be announced, it's worth noting that the Scottish Design Awards are open to all architecture and design companies in Scotland, as well as those doing work for a Scottish client.

Categories in the design field include Best Poster, Best Promotional Literature, Best Item of Self Promotion and Best Website Design. Architecture awards up for grabs range from Best Interior Design to Best Residential, and Best Public Building to Best Re-use of a Listed Building to name but a few.

The Awards, which will be held on Thursday 5 June at Glasgow’s Radison BLU Hotel, will be attended by some of Scotland’s finest design agencies and architecture firms. Previous winners include the likes of Tayburn, Whitespace, Contagious, Stand and Freight Design.

More information on how to enter, categories the judging panel and the event itself can be found on the Scottish Design Awards website.
