Wonder Stuff Studio has appointed Mark Pattinson to its team as senior creative, as the agency worked with brands such as Channel 4, the NHS and Barnardo’s last year.

Pattinson previously worked at FutureBrand, where he dealt with brands such as British Airways, Hugo Boss, Levi and Pantene.

Following this, he started his own agency in 2006 and successfully ran Creative Element from its Gateshead HQ for almost seven years.

He said: said: “I’ve only been here a matter of days, but I’m already hugely impressed with the skills of the team. While I really love all elements of the design process, I’m especially at home creating and developing brands. I’m already getting my teeth into some new client work and there’s quite a buzz in the studio with the levels of new business coming through the door.”

Creative director and founder of Wonder Stuff Studio, Paul Alderson, added: “Mark’s CV speaks for itself. You don’t get to work with some of the most recognisable High Street brands without being one of the best. I’ve admired his work for a long time and am thrilled to welcome him to the team here. Someone of Mark’s experience and seniority is a vital cog in our expansion plans for 2014.

In 2013, Wonder Stuff Studio created branding for Newcastle’s first boutique bowling destination, Lane7 and the newly-opened Dacantus, a signature kitchen, winery and gin lab on Grey Street.
