Greg Hemes leaves Saatchi & Saatchi for production role at 18 Feet & Rising
Greg Hemes is leaving Saatchi & Saatchi to become executive head of production at 18 Feet & Rising and oversee its new production arm, Make Made.
Appointment: Greg Hemes
Hemes will be responsible for the management of production across all accounts and he will have a direct profit share of the newly set up Make Made subsidiary, which will operate as a wholly owned production facility.
Jonathan Trimble, 18 Feet & Rising’s chief executive, said: “It’s a big role and it’s taken over a year to find the right person.
“We’re giving Greg the autonomy to help develop the agency, not just its production department or TV output.”
Hemes added: “18 Feet & Rising is putting production front and centre of the agency, with an equal footing alongside the management team. This made it different from the typical ‘head of’ roles I considered. I am surprised, delighted and nervous.”
Hemes spent more than three years at Saatchi & Saatchi on clients such as T-Mobile, Guinness and Toyota.
