Mother London has promoted Chris Gallery and Katie Mackay to joint heads of strategy, with a view to promote its global client business.

The promotions follow wins from multinationals Mondeléz International and Unilever, and will see the duo report directly to managing director Sara Tate.

Tate said: “We couldn’t be more pleased to have Chris and Katie at the helm of the strategy department. Everyone who has worked with them would agree that they are not just great minds but passionate and lovely people.”

Gallery joined Mother from McCann in 2009, and since has launched campaigns for MoneySupermarket, Green & Blacks and Young’s and lead strategy on a range of global clients including Becks and Stella Artois.

Mackay has been a strategist at Mother for six years, working across Boots, Match.com, Beck's, Ikea and Smirnoff.
