Mark McSherry to write for the Independent and London Evening Standard as US business correspondent
Mark McSherry has been named the new US business correspondent for the Independent and London Evening Standard.
He will work across both titles – owned by Alexander Lebedev and his son Evgeny – covering US company, business, financial and economic news.
McSherry has previously served as the business editor at The Scotsman and Sunday Times Scotland and has also written for titles including Forbes.com, Reuters, and Bloomberg among others.
He will continue working from New York, where he is currently Professor of Communication Arts at St Francis College, Brooklyn.
