The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has appointed Engine to handle its workplace pensions activity, following a pitch process which took place at the end of 2013 involving a number of agencies on the Government Procurement Service’s creative roster.

Engine has been tasked with developing the current DWP ‘I’m In’ campaign as the workplace pensions scheme continues to roll-out.

In addition to informing individuals and employers about the scheme, first introduced in October 2012, Engine will also undertake separate activity to ensure employers understand their duties.

Of the appointment a DWP spokesperson said: “We are glad to have Engine supporting our automatic enrolment campaign.”

Annie Gallimore, managing partner of Engine, added: “We’re delighted to be working with the Department for Work and Pensions on this very important initiative. Saving for our future via pensions is crucial for everyone across the UK.”

The appointment further extends Engine’s relationship with government departments since winning a place on the Government Creative Framework last year. Engine’s integrated campaign for the DWP’s workplace pensions policy will include TV, print and digital, with the creative account led within Engine by WCRS.
