Saatchi & Saatchi has won an internal battle within parent company Publicis Groupe to move to a new office in Farringdon, located on the site of Turnmills nightclub.

The London Evening Standard has reported that the highly esteemed advertising agency, currently based in Soho, has won the move to the new site as a vote of confidence ahead of the expected merger between Publicis and Omnicom later this year.

A source has informed The Drum that the battle was between Saatchi & Saatchi and the group’s media buyer Starcom MediaVest London, also located in Soho, with the advertising agency winning the move in the end.

Neither Publicis Groupe or Saatchi and Saatchi had commented at the time of writing.
