Jumbo Games has announced the appointment of two new PR agencies to handle its media and communications strategy in 2014.

Covering both the business and its brands, consumer PR agencies miPR and Mason Williams Communications have been tasked with raising trade and consumer awareness and handling key product activations in 2014 respectively.

“Kicking-off with Toy Fair later this month, 2014 is going to be a very exciting year for us, with exciting PR plans for our key brands. We’re thrilled to have Mason Williams and miPR on board and think they will be a great extension to our team. We’ve already got some really exciting initiatives including the opportunity to watch an England football match with Peter Shilton OBE and a partnership with the UK’s largest elephant sanctuary.” said Katherine Pierce, marketing manager at Jumbo Games.

miPR will act as Jumbo’s press office throughout the year, handling trade and consumer PR as well as providing support at trade shows. The agency will take responsibility for Jumbo’s new product lines as well as its licensed children’s ranged and leading adult puzzle range, Wasgij.

The Mason Williams brief focuses on brand specific activations to trade and consumers, working across Jumbo’s Wasgij and SoccerSuckers ranges. Developing creative strategies for existing and new products across the year will also fall under Mason Williams remit.
