Francois Hollande ridiculed in online videogame
Embattled French president Francois Hollande has been made the star of his very own video game – although the Elysee Palace resident is unlikely to be a fan.
Embroiled in allegations of an affair, facilitated by nocturnal forays around the streets of Paris on a scooter, the illicit liaisons have inspired developers to create their own parody.
It shows a helmeted Hollande scooting off from his palace to a meeting with his new girlfriend, Julie Gayet, at their nearby love nest – but a tricky obstacle course of journalists, photographers, current and past partners must be negotiated to reach the destination.
Using a mouse players can manouvre the president around these pitfalls, earning points as they do so.
The title has been downloaded over 73,000 times as the airwaves and fibre optic cables remain clogged with news of the affair.
