XM Gravity appoints new CEO as incumbent aims at self startup

Media agency XM Gravity has appointed Nanda Ivens as its new chief executive officer, succeeding Kevin Mintaraga, who becomes its chairman.

XM Gravity has oversight of three digital agencies, two digital PR units, and a digital media agency.

"I am an entrepreneur at heart, and the chairman role will give me the freedom to pursue another project out of the field yet allow me to remain very much connected with XM Gravity,” he said.

“I will still be involved with the company, which will continue to be an important focus for me,"

Chairman Kevin Mintaraga added: "I strongly believe that Nanda's extensive leadership and experiences will bring XM Gravity to level of accomplishments I've never imagined before".

Paul Soon, CEO of XM Asia Pacific said: "Nanda is a talented and natural leader, and I am confident he will be able to take XM Gravity to the next level. He has been working very closely with Kevin and has already taken over the reins, to a large degree, over the last year.

"I wish Kevin all the best in his new venture, and look forward to continue working with him in his new role at XM Gravity."

Mintaraga said he who plans to start up a new company outside the digital advertising industry.
