Less Rain’s head of design Daniel Whitehead has been appointed by DigitasLBi as its new design director as the marketing and technology agency looks to strengthen its creative offering.

At Less Rain Whitehead developed user experiences for brands such as Sony and Victorinox, and prior to that he held roles at a number of digital agencies, including AKQA, Dare, R/GA and SapientNitro.

Of the appointment, Whitehead commented: “I was attracted to DigitasLBi because of its unique culture and creative track-record, as well as the obvious desire to make exceptional things. I’m looking forward to championing innovative design thinking as part of the agency’s blended offering.”

Simon Gill, DigitasLBi executive creative director, added: “We’re well chuffed to welcome Daniel to DigitasLBi. His experience of delivering design excellence for big brands like Sony makes him a great addition to the team.”
