Critical Mass has made yet more changes to its leadership team, as it promotes Amanda Levy to general manager and brings in Susanna Michaels and Lisa Penelton into senior regional roles.

Effective immediately, Levy has been charged with leading business and operations across Chicago and Los Angeles as general manager while continuing her role as SVP and client partner for agency clients Nissan and Infiniti North America.

Meanwhile Michaels has joined as SVP and executive creative director for the digital agency’s Chicago and LA offices. She made the move to Critical Mass from DigitasLBi, where she led the creative for TeamSprint and contributed to several major competitive pitch wins.

Finally Penelton has been brought in as VP of Marketing Science, overseeing clients across four offices. She has joined from Razorfish where she was group director of consumer insights, based in Chicago. Prior to that she built the analytics practice at DraftFCB.

Dianne Wilkins, CEO of Critical Mass, said of the appointments: “The addition of Amanda, Suzanne, and Lisa as leaders across Chicago and Los Angeles, gives us the experience and depth we need to develop our agency talent and serve our clients on their quest to create cumulative customer experiences.”

The hires come just one week after announcing that Conor Brady and Chris Hayes would be joining the agency as global chief creative officer and chief marketing officer, respectively.

Critical Mass is also preparing to merge its London operations with Agency Republic from 18 January, 2014.
