The Award School training program for aspiring creatives, copywriters and art directors is returning to metropolitan cities in Australia and New Zealand.

The courses commence on 10 March

The 12-week course focuses on the emergent digital opportunities available to today's creatives.

DDB senior creative Rory McKechnie and Colenso BBDO senior creative Antony Wilson are among the school heads this year.

The courses commence in Sydney and Melbourne on 10 March before moving to Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, and Auckland.

"We have upped the intensity this year - 10 briefs across 12 weeks is both a great and exciting challenge for budding creatives, but it's also a taste of what real agency life is like,” said chairman Mark Harricks.

“Award School is about preparing the next generation of creatives for the industry and this is the right environment.

“We are looking for those who want to be challenged and stand out from the crowd - if you're interested in 'ideas' then this could be the right opportunity for you."

Former graduates include Gruen panellist chief creative officer of DDB New York, Matt Eastwood, David Droga, founder of Droga5, and creative director Clemenger BBDO Sydney, and former AWARD school head, Rebecca Carrasco.
