Arsenal and Manchester United would take the top two spots in the Premier League if it was decided on social media performance, RadiumOne has found.

The rankings were calculated by the number of stories shared about each team on popular sports news websites, combined with how effectively each club has been interacting with its fans in the 30 days leading up to the 20th game of the season.

Arsenal rose five places, although Manchester City and Aston Villa saw the biggest rise, moving up 14 spaces each from the start of the season.

Norwich has had the biggest upset starting the season in second place but dropping 14 places to their current position of 16 for social engagement and conversations.
