Top Santé has announced plans for its first interactive issue thanks to a partnership with mobile augmented reality platform Blippar.

The February Fitness Special issue of the magazine can be brought to life by downloading the free Blippar app and ‘blipping’ the magazine content.

Using the app readers will be able to become a Top Santé cover star, try out new hairstyles and watch step-by-step exercise moves, complementing the special fitness pull-out section.

“This special extra content for our New Year issue will be a complete workout plan to get your body in brilliant shape for 2014, as devised by leading fitness expert Richard Callender. Readers will find out their “fitness age” by doing a quick exercise test and then will be given a workout plan that’ll help to reduce it,” said editor Jane Druker.

The interactive issue marks Druker’s eighth edition at the magazine’s helm since taking on the role of editor in March 2013.
