Game of Thrones most illegally downloaded TV series of 2013
Fantasy drama series Game of Thrones was the most pirated programme of 2013, ahead of the final series of Breaking Bad.
According to website TorrentFreak, Game of Thrones was the second most pirated programme for the second year, according to the number of downloads made through BitTorrent over the last 12 months, with season three’s final episode being downloaded 5.9 million times.
Meanwhile, the final season of Breaking Bad had 4.2 million downloads and The Walking Dead had 3.6 million.
Also among the most downloaded for the year were The Big Band Theory, How I Met Your Mother and Dexter.
