On the Beach launches TV campaign in the Midlands targeting the post-Christmas market

Online travel agent On the Beach is gearing up to launch its first TV advertising campaign on Boxing Day (Thursday 26 December).

'Totally beaching holidays', created by CheethamBellJWT, highlights On the Beach's dedication of beach holidays and showcases its range of products and services.

"On the Beach has seen great growth online, however we know that 50 per cent of customers begin their booking journey offline. The aim of the campaign is to increase awareness of On the Beach during this busy booking period and position ourselves as a very credible alternative to high street travel agents," commented Alistair Daly, chief marketing officer at On the Beach.

Running from Boxing Day the ad will air across the Midlands region on ITV and Channel 4, with planning handled by Mediacom. Local print press and digital display advertising will also feature with support from online and offline PR, led by JPW Communications.
