Blippar teams with Pizza Hut to provide slice of content on the go

Blippar has teamed up with Pizza Hut Delivery to help consumers play exclusive content from the newly released Forza 5 Motorsport game on their pizza box.

A blippable image of a Forza 5 car is featured on the lid of over 500,000 pizza boxes in 300 Pizza Hut Delivery outlets nationally, until 12 Jan 2014.

Margaret Dixon, chief marketing officer at Pizza Hut UK & Ireland, said: “At Pizza Hut Delivery we’re passionate about new ideas and ensuring our customers enjoy variety and choice. We are thrilled to be able to offer our cheese loving customers this latest innovation, and to build on our partnership with Microsoft by teaming up with Blippar on the launch of ‘Forza Motorsport 5’. Pizza, augmented reality and gaming are such a natural fit and we’re sure that our customers will enjoy the ultimate gaming experience by combining the three.”

As well as seeing exclusive Forza 5 videos, customers can enter competitions to win prizes, including Xbox consoles, Forza 5 Motorsport Games, and even Silverstone track day experiences.
