Superdrug appoints ZPR and Cow for PR

Superdrug has appointed ZPR and Cow to handle its PR, following a competitive pitch and the creation of a new PR structure.

ZPR, who has worked with Superdrug since 2006, has been retained to handle all corporate PR and consumer beauty PR, while Cow will look to strengthen Superdrug's credibility in the health and pharmacy market.

Matt Walburn, Superdrug marketing director, said: "2014 is an important year as we celebrate our birthday celebrations and we’ve put in place a PR structure that will support the growth areas of the business. I’m delighted that we are continuing our relationship with ZPR who continue to do a great job in promoting the Superdrug brand in this our fiftieth birthday year. The new appointment of Cow to give us a bigger voice in health reflects the importance we are placing on this area of growth for the business."

2014 will see Superdrug celebrate its 50 year anniversary, for which ZPR will handle the celebrations.
