JWT Singapore has designed a Christmas Facebook app for Kit Kat.

The Kit Kat app

The execution invites users to create a customised Christmas e-card and share via social media.

The campaign is aimed at the brand’s youth market.

"This is a fun, irreverent app that really brings the Kit Kat breaks to life with a smile during the festive season. The Kit Kat Christmas Make-a-Break app allows users to send a customised yet personalised greeting to their friends at this festive break, giving them extra cheer and relief in place of the usual mass greetings." said James Wong, director of corporate affairs and communications for Nestle Singapore.

Lynette Chua, account manager at JWT Singapore said: "Christmas is a day of giving in appreciation of our loved ones, but quite often, we may have missed out people who deserve our appreciation too, like our friends who have religiously participated on our Facebook page."

She added: "This app singles out friends who've really made an effort to be part of your life, and lets you make their Christmas break with some quirky, festive cheer.

The app accesses users’ timelines and prompts them with suggested friends to send the card to.
