Sydney’s Edelman agency has designed a social media campaign aimed at preserving the iconic Sydney Opera House for the future.The ‘Own Our House’ campaign encourages people to buy a tile on a representation of the Opera House on a dedicated website.The concept was originated by Edelman’s Adam Sparke.“In buying a tile for the Opera House's decade of renewal you will help ensure our icon continues to inspire artists, audiences and visitors for many generations to come. The Own Our House campaign will first and foremost support renewal of the building,” the Own Our House’ website explains.Purchasers of tile, which cost up to $400, will purchase a digital version of a tile, which can be accessed through an online replica of the Opera House, for a ten year period.The campaign executes across the Sydney Opera House’s existing Facebook page, Twitter page and via Youtube.
