World Cup draw generates 1.7m tweets
Twitter has revealed that 1.7m tweets were sent about Friday's World Cup draw.Fans, players and reporters took to the social network as it was revealed who would be playing who at next year's showpiece football tournament in Brazil.According to the Twitter blog, the peak in conversation came at 12:17pm EST when it was revealed that the USA would join Germany, Ghana and Portugal in group G. USA midfielder Michael Bradley took the team's official Twitter account to sum it up as 'the group of death'.
