DigitasLBi promotes Julia Conroy to UK PR and marketing director

Julia Conroy has been promoted to the role of UK PR and marketing director at marketing and technology agency DigitasLBi.

In the newly-created role Conroy will work to raise the agency’s profile in the UK and will continue to drive its PR and communications strategy, taking on formal responsibility for UK marketing activity including awards, events and speaking arrangements.

Conroy began her career at Condé Nast Publications and has since held roles at Saatchi & Saatchi and Kitcatt Nohr Digitas, she joined DigitasLBi in May 2012.

Of the appointment, Conroy said: “Over the last 18 months the agency has seen some exciting changes, and I’m very proud to have played a part in strengthening our brand presence in the UK during this dynamic period. I’m looking forward to continuing to raise our profile as we move into the next phase of our evolution as DigitasLBi.”

As UK PR and marketing director Conroy will continue to report to Gareth Jones, who was recently promoted to the dual role of global chief brand and content officer and international chief marketing officer.
