Breakthrough Breast Cancer has appointed Steel London as its retained digital agency following the launch of a new 10-year strategy for the charity.

Appointment: Steel has been named as retained digital agency

Deanne Gardner, assistant director of communications and brand management at Breakthrough Breast Cancer, said: “Working collaboratively with Steel London will help us to continue putting breast cancer back on the agenda.

“It’s not yesterday’s problem, affecting 50,000 women and 400 men every year, and the need to raise awareness of breakthrough’s work has never been greater.”

Andy Hinder, CEO of Steel, added: “We take pride in our forward-looking approach to digital marketing and it is exciting to anticipate the opportunities that lie ahead as we embrace the new relationship between Steel and Breakthrough Breast Cancer.”

Steel won the account after a competitive pitch and has first been tasked with developing the charity’s website and health information.
