Panasonic turns to We Are Social for campaign support activity

Electronics company Panasonic has tasked We Are Social with the creation of a number of social media campaigns that will include product launch and above-the-line support.

The appointment however will not affect the work by the company's in-house community management team, with We Are Social set to support their strategic and creative output.

John Dixon, director of brand communications at Panasonic UK, said that he was confident that the agency's experience and expertise would deliver the expected results.

Sarah Oliver, account director at We Are Social, added: “Panasonic has a strong brand and huge social potential. It has big ambitions for its social media activity and we’re looking forward to working closely with their team to deliver some truly creative and effective campaigns.”

We Are Social has already work with Panasonic on the launch of its Lumix TZ40 camera, with its social activity including offering nine of the company's Facebook fans the chance to capture holiday pictures using the device and share them through their pages with family and friends.
