BrandAlley has rolled out its first TV advertising campaign, showing a woman giving the shirt off her back – quite literally – to buy a pair of heels she covets.

The ad for the private sales etailer looks to promote that ‘There is a Savvier Way to Shop’, and was created by Forever-Beta and produced by Royle Productions.

“As it’s our first TV campaign we wanted to ensure our brand personality shone through and stood out from other retailer campaigns,” explained BrandAlley marketing and PR director Melissa Littler. “There is glamour and humour in the ad and I think most of us can really identify with that longing for the perfect designer purchase and then post rationalising it.”

Alongside the TV campaign will be a press, PR and social media campaign continuing the debate ‘How far would you go?’ which will look into the lengths UK shoppers have gone to for that must have item and their justification for spending on certain products.
