We Are Social appoints AKQA’s Elie Adamson as client services director
We Are Social has appointed Elie Adamson as client services director at its London headquarters.
Adamson joins from AKQA, where she spent the past two years as group account director, and takes over from Nicole Ghobrial, who is relocating to the We Are Social New York office from January 2014 to take up the role of clients services director there.
Jim Coleman, managing director at We Are Social, said: “We are delighted to have Elie on board. Her years spent working in a top flight agency environment like AKQA is a perfect fit for We Are Social, and her client services experience is second to none.
“Nicole has done some amazing work here over the last two years and we’re sad to see her go, even if she is staying in the We Are Social family. She’ll be a huge asset to our team in New York.”
In her new role, Adamson will take overall responsibility for the agency’s client relationships, working with them to help put social media at the centre of their marketing strategies.
She said: “We Are Social’s trajectory over the last five years has been nothing short of exceptional. I’m really excited to be joining such an outstanding team, and to have the chance to work with a set of amazing brands who are really taking social media seriously.”
Previously, Adamson has worked with clients including Royal Navy, Fiat, Unilever, Lancome and Xbox.
