Domino’s Pizza has unveiled its own gamertag ‘DominosPizzaUK’ on Xbox 360, to celebrate the launch of Call of Duty: Ghosts.

The new Call of Duty game introduces a new feature called ‘squads’ that allows up to five gamers to play together. Domino’s has created a squad of amateur players to represent a brand-owned-team to lead the squad to victory, interacting and engaging with the gaming community.

The activity will be promoted via the brand’s social media channels, with ‘live battle reports’ encouraging players to add DominosPizzaUK to their friends list.

Those who take part and interact with the squad will be encouraged for playing well by receiving voucher codes.

Nick Dutch, head of digital at Domino’s Pizza Group. Nick said: “We’re constantly seeking new ways of engaging with our audiences and understanding what makes them tick. Playing the games they want to play is an important part of that process, and something that hasn’t been done – so we’re excited to see how far Team Domino’s can go!”

Dutch oversaw the creation of the campaign, which was developed by Iris Worldwide, and forms part of Domino’s wider #GameFuel campaign.
