Morrisons appoints Live & Breathe to handle in-store event comms

Morrisons has appointed Live & Breathe to handle its in-store event communications programme following a competitive pitch run by Proxima.

“Live & Breathe is one of our long-standing agency partners and we are delighted to be continuing to work with them,” said Morrisons marketing director, Rebecca Singleton. “We know they can deliver on the big projects that are so important to our future as a leading retailer. With their support we will be able to enhance the in-store experience for our customers.”

This is the first time that Live & Breathe has been formally retained by Morrisons despite its 12-year ongoing relationship.

Kenny Cox, board account director at Live & Breathe said: “At a time when stores are having to work harder than ever to differentiate themselves this is a really exciting pitch to win. We’ve been specialists in the in-store environment for over twenty years and we relish the opportunity to help make the Morrisons in-store experience an outstanding one.”

The appointment follows the above-the-line pitch held earlier in the year which saw DLKW Lowe retain the business.
